Elegie <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Theano schl\u00e4ft mit ihren H\u00fchnern in einer Baracke.
\nSie tr\u00e4gt Winters und Sommers dieselben Kleider
\nund ein schwarzes Kopftuch. Die Kinder machen sich
\nlustig \u00fcber sie und werfen mit Steinen nach ihr. Wie
\nein Gespenst schleicht sie an unserem Haus vor\u00fcber,
\nund ich beobachte sie von hinter den Jalousien. Ich habe
\nAngst vor ihrem wirren Blick und ihren Fl\u00fcchen. Man sagt,
\ndass sie zaubern kann und mit den Flederm\u00e4usen spricht.
\nMan sagt auch, dass sie in den N\u00e4chten ausgeht und ihren
\nDurst stillt an der Quelle unter der Br\u00fccke. Eines Morgens
\nbrachte man sie mit Gewalt in die Klinik. Ich habe sie seitdem
\nnicht wiedergesehen aber sie kommt manchmal in meinen
\nTraum und bittet um frisches Wasser.<\/span><\/p>\n

Man sagte, sie sei schon stumm geboren worden.
\nSie kam im Winter in das Dorf und verbarg sich in
\neinem Winkel der Ruine. Niemand wusste, wie sie
\nhie\u00df oder woher sie kam. Sie trieb sich Mittags in
\nden G\u00e4rten herum und schleppte ihren K\u00f6rper als
\nh\u00e4tte sie Schmerzen. Den V\u00f6geln stellte sie Fallen
\nund lie\u00df das Wasser in den Quellen tr\u00fcb werden.
\nDie Dorfbewohner zitterten, wenn sie sie sahen,
\nund die Kinder rannten weg und versteckten sich.

Eleni Marinaki wurde in Chania geboren, wo sie heute auch lebt. Sie studierte Malerei und Graphik in Athen und arbeitete einige Jahre dort. Sie hat bislang acht Gedichtb\u00e4nde ver\u00f6ffentlicht. Zudem stammen die Einleitung und die poetischen Kommentare f\u00fcr zwei Photob\u00e4nde von ihr.
